3 lb Ground Beef
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Onion, sliced in rings
1 cup Celery, diced
1 Garlic clove, minced
2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 cup Ketchup
1 can Tomato Paste, 6 oz
1-1/4 cup Water
2 Tbsp Vinegar
3 tsp Brown sugar (to taste)
1 tsp Dijon Mustard (to taste)
Optional Ingredients:
3 Beef Bouillon Cubes, crushed
½ tsp Paprika
¼ tsp Pepper
Heat up the Olive oil in skillet and brown meat in it. Place sliced onions in the bottom of the crock pot. Add the beef to the crock pot and then all the remaining ingredients. Give it a careful stir, making certain to leave the onion slices at the very bottom of the pot... They prevent the meat from scorching. :)
Cook on Low for 6-8 hours or High for 3-4 hours. Serve on your favorite rolls or buns. Toasting your bread is optional. My boys might even like this over noodles... maybe I’ll try that with the leftovers. I’m not completely sold on this with noodles though.
