We had a great beach day yesterday! We hit the Calafia State Beach in San Clemente every Friday with our ward, and neighbors. It's my favorite day
of the week, next to Sunday, because it is such relaxing fun for us all.
I can totally see now why my Aunt Karen used to love taking all of us kids to the beach for so many years. Thanks Aunt Karen! I have such fun memories with my cousins at Huntington Beach, and now my kids are doing the same.
The big events of the day were boy and girl clubs, clearing the seaweed out of the ocean & then watering it,
making sand balls & tunnels, & then getting burgers and onion rings at the Burger Stop with our best buds. We also stopped by the dollar store for ice-cream. What a day!

So fun! My kids miss the beach but I have to say I don't miss it at all. Sand sand everywhere! Those kids are so beautiful I just can't stand it.
