Max's teacher is hosting a totally cool all day activity tomorrow: Living History Day. I get to bring 3 batches of Native American Play Dough, here's the recipe.
In a medium saucepan combine:
1 cup white flour
1/2 cup salt
2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
Add:
1 cup water
1 Tbsp oil
Stir over medium heat for 3-5 minutes. When the mixture forms a ball in the center of the pot take it out and put it on a floured board. When it is cool enough to handle, knead. Store in an airtight container.

That's the play dough I always make my kids minus the cinnamon. I wonder if that's for scent?
