Natalie has been waiting for the 6th Harry Potter book to come back into the library for a couple weeks and was so excited when she saw it there last Thursday on her library day! Unfortunately, her happiness didn't last long when she realized she had forgotten her returning book at home. Natalie has been worried for days that the book will be gone come Thursday and that she'll have to wait forever to check it out next. Then the sweetest most wonderful thing happened...
Maxwell surprised Natalie yesterday after school with the 6th Harry Potter book from the school library! He checked it out for her instead of getting one for himself. Such a sweet and thoughtful boy. I wish you could see the joy on both of their faces, and the eagerness all our children have to serve one another more often, just because it feels so great.
Watching our children do random acts of kindness are the best moments of motherhood. :)
