Storytime

Max read to us last night for our family storytime. Natalie listened as she finished cutting out flowers she had drawn and colored, while Max read Green Eggs and Ham. Max is entering 1st grade in the fall, and his reading has just come alive this summer. He is reading punctuation with proper voice fluctuations, and keeping the attention of his little brothers better than I do when I read! It's such a joy to watch our children grow.

Jen, that is so great that he's reading so well. Henry is going to love being read to by him.

Great advice on the iron thing too. How did you know to even test his blood? I will stop serving milk with our meals. How do you if your child needs to be tested? Email me!

It's amazing how the older ones are such an example to the little ones. We don't have our kids start fasting until they are 8, and it's just one meal until they are 12. But since Brynna has been so faithful about it, Nathan's not even 7 but wants to start fasting. You gotta love the good influences.

That is so sweet to see them all sitting and listening. What a great family moment.
